Dusty The acclaimed author of A GIFT FOR DUSTY, THE TRAIL TO WRANGELL, ADVENTURE GOLD, FIRE, and the soon coming TRAILS END, Glen Guy has a love for the wilderness going back to his childhood. He, his wife Sandy, and their faithful wolf dog Shadow Spirit live much the lifestyle he writes about, in a log cabin along the banks of the Little Susitna River, north of Wasilla, Alaska.

Guy, Alaska's beloved storyteller, performs his character, Dusty Sourdough, on stage nightly during summer in Alaska. He performs at fairs, conventions, and visits schools in Alaska and throughout the United States during winter. Dusty is available for book signings, storytelling, assemblies, motivational speaking, and workshops at schools, clubs, and other organizations. VIEW STATEMENT Glen Guy, AKA, Dusty Sourdough

Tens of thousands of students have heard Dusty's message of the importance of reading, writing, and self-esteem. He believes his techniques for teaching these subjects are unusual and one of a kind. The success is proven in the amount of letters of thanks and e-mails he receives. His philosophy is self esteem isn't taught, but is gained through knowledge. Knowledge is gained through reading and the ability to express oneself in writing.
