Customer ServiceDusty Sourdough is a multi-talented Alaska character actor, author, singer, and storyteller who loves to transform himself and his audience back to the frontier days of Alaska.

From start to finish his songs, stories, and humor make the hour show seem to fly by. Sometimes he even puts his audience in the spotlight with his humorous antics. People always go home with a smile on their face and a song in their heart after spending an evening with Dusty.

As one of Alaska's best selling authors, Dusty (Glen Guy) writes fiction adventure stories for the whole family based on historical facts about the pioneer days of Alaska (1850s-1890s). "The Adventures Of Dusty Sourdough" is a five (5) book series with four (4) books finished and the fifth (5th) one soon to be finished.

Dusty will stir the adventure in your soul and the longing in your heart for yesteryear.

School Programs

All School Assembly ~ 45 minutes ~ Grades 1st - 8th ~ Dramatized storytelling and music ~ Promotion of reading, writing and self-esteem ~ Fun learning experience ~ Authentic 1800s costuming ~ Student participation during question-answer time. Dusty coined the phrase, "If you can't read the rules, you can't play the game... the game of life."

Writing Workshop ~ Time alloted to fit your needs ~ Grades 4th - 8th ~ Teaches what is involved in getting a book published ~ 10 steps on how to become a better writer ~ Athorship ~ Editing ~ Illustrations ~ Distribution. Time permitting, students write a short story using the ten steps.

Storytelling Workshop ~ Time alloted to fit your needs ~ Grades 4th - 8th ~ Finding or writing a story you want to tell ~ Rehearsal techniques ~ Costuming ~ Characterization ~ Delivery ~ Time permitting, some students will have the opportunity to tell a short story.
